REVIEW: LEGO 76185 Marvel Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop

Spider-man No Way Home arrived in cinemas last December and this is the first Lego set released based on that Movie.

ON THE BOX: 7+ Set 76185. Spider-Man and the Sanctum Workshop. 355Pcs

The set includes 4 Minifigs, a brick built monster and a “workshop” build.

The workshop is not great to look at as it has so much open space and is an odd shape for display. But it does the trick for a playset and I found it fun to use for photos.

The set is jam packed with fun parts and accessories though and the figures all look great. Of special note is that new Doctor Strange cape, it looks so much better than the two part fabrick cape and I hope we see more capes in this rubbery material.

The monster in the set uses vine parts for legs which make it hard to get him to stand up but I still think he looks pretty good. His head is a nicely articluated as are his claws which can be used to grab our heroes.

It’s a strange little vignette packed with small details (which may mean more after we see the film), some really nice figures and a fun bug monster. I picked it up for £35 from LEGO which is probably marginally too expensive, bit not out of line with other LEGO sets at the moment.

I give this set 8/10, maybe it would have just been a 7 if I already had a lot of the accessories before buying this set.

This LEGO set is available from most LEGO retailers but I bought mine from Smyths Toys for £25.
