Dark Trooper Attack is based on a scene from Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 2. It includes 166 pieces, several of which make up 4 minifigs; 3 Troopers and Luke Skywalker. It cost me £24.99

This is basically a battle pack but rather than a vehicle it has a small diorama with some fun action features. Not the prettiest set to display but it’s very clear that this is a star wars corridor. The copious stickers help with that.

It’s surprisingly small in hand but to paraphrase BrickFanatics, if you buy more sets you can make it bigger!!! Duh*.
There are 3 main action features and all are sort of similar but also sort of fun.

There’s a spinning door to enter the coridor, a spinning plate to make a character turn and a sliding jumper to make a minifig move forwards or back. The latter two I think are supposed to be used in conjunction.

The Dark Troopers are nicely detailed and it’s good to get 3 of them in set at the lower end of the LEGO price range.

Luke is also fine but it would have been nice to get a hair piece too. Actually this Luke looks a bit more realistic than the one from the episode on which this based. (Boom. Sick burn! Right?**)

I’ve seen a few people complaining about the open panel at the back but I think it’s fine. It’s another play option for kids and AFOLs can just fill the gap with their own parts if it’s a problem for them.
To wrap up, a decent set for the price that gives a desirable trooper in a good quantity for a low-ish price. Play features are fun and the set looks pretty proper. The stickers are a bit of a pain but I’m used to that now!
Score 7/10
*I know what Brickfanatics meant and they actually have some good tips for expanding the set.
**I actually was pretty impressed by Luke in Mandalorian but it’s still not quite right and takes me out of the show when I see stuff like that.
